Police are investigating after a man was seen wearing a shirt bearing the antisemitic slogan “Khaybar Khaybar yaa Yahud” while shopping in North London. The phrase invokes the 7th-century Battle of Khaybar, when Muslim forces defeated a Jewish community, and is used today as an anti-Jewish threat. A Jewish man shopping with his children reported the incident. Police said it is being investigated as a potential racially aggravated public order offense. No arrests have been made.
