HEGSETH: PUBLIC WILL BE ABLE TO WATCH FORT HOOD SHOOTER'S EXECUTION: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said Thursday that the execution of terrorist Nidal Hasan, the former Army major who killed 13 people and wounded 32 in the 2009 Fort Hood attack, will be public. "We'll make sure that people are able to watch it," he told Real America's Voice. Hasan is scheduled to be executed by firing squad at Fort Hood on Dec. 3, which would be the first U.S. military execution since 1961. The Army has not said how the public will be able to watch, and the Pentagon declined to comment. (Axios)
