⛽ U.S. DIESEL PRICES HIT RECORD $5.85 A GALLON: The national average price for diesel reached a record $5.85 per gallon Friday as the Iran war continues to disrupt global fuel supplies, according to AP. Diesel was about $3.76 before the war began in late February, while regular gasoline has climbed to an average of $4.15, up from $2.98 before the conflict. Higher diesel costs are also raising transportation and food prices across the country.
