🇺🇸🇨🇺 FLORIDA JUDGE ISSUES ARREST WARRANT FOR FORMER CUBAN LEADER RAÚL CASTRO ON MURDER CONSPIRACY CHARGE: A Miami-Dade judge has signed a state arrest warrant for Raúl Castro, 95, on a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier's office said. The warrant relates to the Feb. 24, 1996, shootdown of two unarmed civilian aircraft operated by the Miami-based group Brothers to the Rescue, which killed four men. Castro, then Cuba's defense minister, was indicted on federal murder and conspiracy charges in May. The state warrant seeks his extradition if he is arrested outside Florida.
