💰 BLAKEMAN UNVEILS $35 BILLION NEW YORK TAX-CUT PLAN: Republican gubernatorial nominee Bruce Blakeman proposed eliminating New York state income tax on the first $50,000 for single filers and $100,000 for joint filers, saying a couple earning $100,000 would save about $4,000 a year and those earning up to $250,000 about $7,000. Blakeman said the roughly $35 billion tax cut would be offset partly by reducing spending on migrants and Medicaid.
