FEDERAL JUDGE DISMISSES DOJ LAWSUIT OVER ALASKA SENATE RACE — U.S. District Judge Sharon Gleason on Sunday dismissed the Trump administration’s lawsuit seeking to block certification of Alaska’s Senate election if Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan loses. The DOJ argued that another candidate named Dan Sullivan could confuse voters and affect the outcome. The judge ruled that separating ballots for investigation would be impractical and could compromise voter privacy.
