UPDATE – IDF EXTENDS ATTACK DRONE BAN: IDF Ground Forces chief Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan has extended the grounding of small attack drones until October 4 following Thursday’s deadly accident in northern Gaza. An “Atalef” FPV drone crashed during takeoff and exploded minutes later after soldiers picked it up, killing Master Sgt. (res.) Nadav Kali, 24, and Master Sgt. (res.) Ofek Moalem, 23. The IDF says the extension is a preventive precaution, with limited use expected to resume next Sunday as needed and with reporting requirements.
