🇨🇦🇺🇸 CANADA’S RETALIATORY TARIFFS TAKE EFFECT AS TRADE FIGHT ESCALATES: Canada’s new tariffs of 15% to 50% on C$27.6 billion (about US$20 billion) of American goods are officially in effect, targeting steel, aluminum, dairy, appliances and other products. Meanwhile, the U.S. share of Canadian exports fell to about 66% in July, down from an average of roughly 72% in 2025, as Canada expands trade elsewhere.
