🇮🇱🗳️ JUST IN: LIKUD REQUESTS EXTENSION OF VOTING HOURS — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party says it has requested an extension of voting hours in Israel’s national election amid high voter turnout and long lines at polling stations. The Central Elections Committee has reportedly already confirmed that anyone waiting in line by the scheduled 10:00 p.m. closing time will be allowed to vote, even if polling stations must remain open later. It remains unclear whether a broader extension will be approved.
