WATCH: The Pentagon is developing a major emergency preparedness plan to keep U.S. military bases operating for at least 90 days without outside support in the event of a global conflict that disrupts power grids, water supplies, communications and critical supply chains. According to Fox News, the initiative, called FORTRESS, includes independent power systems, portable nuclear reactors, emergency fuel and ammunition stockpiles, and plans to shift civilian factories to military production if necessary.
