🛰️ U.S. CONFIRMS WEAPONS IN ORBIT: The United States has publicly acknowledged for the first time that it has deployed “space control weapons” in orbit, according to Air & Space Forces Magazine and The Washington Post. Air Force Secretary Troy Meink said the systems can defend U.S. forces against hostile action but declined to reveal what they are, how many exist or when they were launched. The Space Force says space-control capabilities can disrupt, degrade or even destroy enemy systems and may be used offensively or defensively. Analysts believe non-kinetic systems such as electronic-warfare or jamming weapons are among the possibilities, since kinetic attacks can create dangerous orbital debris.
