A kosher bakery in Montreal was destroyed by a fire early Wednesday in what police suspect was a deliberate arson attack. Investigators are examining a possible antisemitic motive after the business was reportedly targeted in another attempted arson less than 48 hours earlier. The fire broke out shortly after midnight at Mimimelon bakery on Saint-Louis Street in Montreal's Saint-Laurent borough, an area with a sizable Jewish community. Approximately 60 firefighters responded and battled the blaze for about two hours before bringing it under control. Police said evidence collected at the scene indicates the fire was deliberately set.
