🇮🇱🎓 HISTORIC $250 MILLION DONATION TO HEBREW UNIVERSITY OF JERUSALEM: American billionaire and philanthropist John Paulson announced a $250 million donation to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the largest gift in the university’s history, according to the university. The funds will help establish a new Faculty of Engineering, expand medical and biomedical research and education, and support trauma recovery research. In recognition of the gift, the university’s Mount Scopus campus will be renamed the Alina and John Paulson Campus. Including earlier donations, Paulson’s total support for the university reaches $296 million.
