🇮🇱 FORMER MOSSAD CHIEF SAYS DOZENS OF AGENTS WERE INSIDE IRAN WEEKS BEFORE JUNE 2025 STRIKES: Former Mossad chief David Barnea said at a conference Thursday that dozens of Mossad operatives were in Iran weeks before Israel's June 2025 attack, each personally approved by him. He said Mossad released an official video on the operation's first morning to overwhelm Iranian security services with suspects and protect its agents, and that Iran arrested 21,000 people on the second day, many later released. Barnea also said Mossad ran hundreds of tests before the September 2024 Hezbollah pager attacks and repeatedly ordered smaller explosive charges to limit harm to bystanders. Asked whether more compromised devices exist, he declined to answer, saying the uncertainty served a strategic purpose.
