FLORIDA REVOKES PERMITS FOR FLOCK CAMERAS ON STATE HIGHWAYS: Florida's Department of Transportation has revoked permits for Flock license plate reader cameras installed along state highway rights-of-way, citing an increase in reports of misuse. According to a memorandum obtained by ABC News, FDOT will no longer issue permits for license plate reader systems under its jurisdiction. Existing cameras must be removed within 30 days or the department will remove them. Flock Safety did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.
