🇺🇳 UN ALLOWS ABBAS TO ADDRESS GENERAL ASSEMBLY BY VIDEO: The UN General Assembly voted 152-3, with four abstentions, to allow Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to address next week’s gathering by video after the U.S. denied him a visa to travel to New York. The resolution applies for one year and permits Abbas and other senior Palestinian officials to participate virtually in UN meetings during that period if they cannot enter the U.S.
