🇮🇱 IDF CHIEF: MILITARY IN “TENSE AND VOLATILE” PERIOD: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir says Israel is facing a “tense and volatile period across all sectors” ahead of the Jewish holidays, stressing that the military’s baseline posture must be readiness for a surprise attack. His remarks came during a snap exercise launched Sunday to test the IDF’s ability to respond to a sudden, complex, multi-front scenario and assess the readiness of its senior headquarters and standby forces.
