A proposed partnership between Maimonides Health and NYC Health + Hospitals took another step toward becoming a reality Thursday after the New York State Public Health and Health Planning Council unanimously approved the transaction. The deal still requires additional regulatory and legal approval under New York state law before it can be finalized.The council’s vote followed a unanimous vote by a subcommittee in August.
