🇺🇸🇺🇦 REPORT: Ukrainian drone operators decisively outperformed a U.S. armored brigade during the Combined Resolve exercise in Germany earlier this year, according to The Wall Street Journal. Ukraine's 412th Nemesis Regiment rapidly spotted U.S. armored vehicles-often exposed by dust-and used simulated FPV and explosive-dropping drone attacks to eliminate them so quickly that American units had to repeatedly "respawn" to keep the exercise going. About 3,500 U.S. troops, mainly from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, participated. U.S. forces improved in later rounds by dispersing and concealing vehicles and using electronic warfare more effectively, while Ukrainian operators eventually switched sides to help train the Americans in offensive drone tactics.
