Multiple countries that have accused Israel of ‘genocide,’ elected to UN Human Rights Council: Jordan, Kuwait and Ireland are among 15 newly elected member states that will serve on the council until the end of 2029. The others are Brazil, Burundi, Dominican Republic, Germany, Ghana, Japan, Nepal, Nigeria, Moldova, Ukraine, Uruguay and Zambia.
