REPORT: The U.S. military has lost at least 45 MQ-9 Reaper drones during the war with Iran - roughly 25% of its prewar fleet - according to U.S. officials cited by The Washington Post. The losses could exceed $1.3 billion, with some drones shot down and others crashing after communication failures. Heavy operations around the Strait of Hormuz have accelerated the attrition, and the conflict is also straining broader U.S. weapons stockpiles, with the Pentagon seeking additional funding to replenish its arsenal.
