Three supporting acts have withdrawn from Ed Sheeran’s tour following the removal of rapper Macklemore after his pro-Palestinian comments during performances in New Jersey. Finneas, Aaron Rowe and Irish band Beoga announced their departures Tuesday. Finneas, who was scheduled to join Sheeran for the South American leg, said he was leaving because he believed artists should not be silenced for speaking out on behalf of Palestinians. Finneas wrote on Instagram that “artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed” and said, “I stand with Palestine and its people.”
