Four people were hospitalized Monday after a construction crane collapsed in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, striking vehicles and causing a fire, authorities said. The crane came down near Southeast 12th Street and Brickell Bay Drive, according to Miami Fire Rescue. Video from the scene showed the large crane lying across the roadway, with a vehicle nearby engulfed in flames. Miami Fire Rescue said crews carried out a complex rescue operation before transporting four people to hospitals. Officials had not immediately released their conditions or identities.
