HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that the Trump administration is pausing more than $1 billion in Medicaid payments to California and Minnesota over suspected fraud and noncompliance, saying the states must provide documentation showing the payments are legitimate if they want the funding released.
