📈 NASDAQ PLANS NEARLY 24-HOUR TRADING: Nasdaq is preparing to launch a new overnight trading session, expanding U.S. stock trading to 23 hours a day, five days a week. The SEC approved the plan in April; the launch, targeted for December 6, now hinges on the DTCC clearing system and market data infrastructure being ready in time. The new “Night Session” will run from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. ET, with a one-hour pause from 8–9 p.m. for system processing, and will offer more limited order types and functionality than regular trading hours.
