🇮🇱🕯️ YEHUDA KATZ HY"D LAID TO REST IN JERUSALEM: The levayah of IDF soldier Yehuda Yekutiel Katz HY"D was held Friday, beginning at Kerem B'Yavneh Yeshiva, where he studied before his military service, and concluding with kevurah at Har HaZeisim. Katz, an Armored Corps soldier missing since the 1982 Battle of Sultan Yacoub in Lebanon, was returned to Israel this week following a classified IDF Military Intelligence and Mossad operation. He was the last of the battle's three missing soldiers to be brought home, after Zachary Baumel in 2019 and Zvi Feldman in 2025. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir told the family, "After 44 years, the Battle of Sultan Yacoub has come to an end."
