REPORT: Ukrainian intelligence chief Vadym Skibitsky reportedly said that North Korea has deployed 8,500 additional troops to Russia, including 400 drone operators expected to conduct reconnaissance and strikes against Ukraine and 1,000 engineers and sappers supporting positions in Russia's Kursk region. He told CNN that roughly 25,000 North Korean personnel have rotated through Russia since October 2024 and predicted Putin could seek up to 50,000 additional troops when he meets Kim Jong Un in September. North Korea's Kim Yo Jong has dismissed such claims as "groundless."
