🇪🇸 SPAIN PROTESTS CEUTA BORDER CRISIS: Tens of thousands demonstrated across Madrid and more than 200 Spanish municipalities Wednesday night over the migrant crisis in Ceuta, where roughly 72,000 people crossed from Morocco in late July and about 5,000 are estimated to remain. The rallies were called by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and promoted by the opposition Popular Party and Vox, which accuse Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s government of failing to protect Spain’s borders. The government says the demonstrations are politically motivated.
