A French Jewish tourist says he and six others were surrounded, spat on and subjected to antisemitic abuse for about 40 minutes after leaving a synagogue in Barcelona. Jimmy Zaghroun, 41, said the crowd shouted anti-Jewish and anti-Israel slogans and threatened the group. He said the tourists eventually escaped to their hotel, with some attackers following them. Spanish authorities are investigating the incident, while Zaghroun has filed a complaint in France.
