🇮🇱 IAI UNVEILS BALLOON-MOUNTED RADAR FOR LOW-ALTITUDE THREATS: Israel Aerospace Industries is unveiling its new POINT@AIR tactical radar at the AUSA 2026 defense exhibition in Washington, D.C. Mounted on a mobile aerostat, the AESA radar offers 360-degree coverage and can detect and track multiple aerial, maritime and ground targets, IAI says. Its elevated position extends line of sight beyond terrain and obstacles that limit ground-based radars, allowing earlier detection of low-altitude threats without permanent infrastructure.
