New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani voiced support for an international dockworkers strike across 113 ports in 22 countries, backing workers who sought to disrupt the transportation of weapons and military equipment to Israel. "Dockworkers went on strike across 113 ports in 22 countries to disrupt the transport of weapons of war, in solidarity with the Palestinian people. New Yorkers stand with them," Mamdani wrote in a social media post. "When working people unite in their power, we build a better world," he added. "Dockworkers do not work for war."
