Holocaust survivor David Einhorn, an Auschwitz survivor, was honored Monday evening at Saville Manor in Brooklyn's Borough Park during a celebration marking his 100th birthday. The event brought together Holocaust survivors, elected officials, rabbis, community leaders, family and friends. A highlight of the evening was the dedication of a new Sefer Torah, written by Rabbi Shmuel Traube of Bais HaSTaM in Brooklyn. Einhorn dedicated the Torah in memory of his late wife and family members murdered in the Holocaust, and in honor of his daughters.
