Salesforce founder and CEO Marc Benioff has publicly confirmed that he wraps tefillin every day, telling Chabad-Lubavitch rabbi and Jewish outreach figure Yossi Farro during a conversation on Tuesday at Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference in San Francisco. In the video, Farro asks Benioff whether he puts on tefillin. Benioff confirms that he does and says he does so every day. Benioff co-founded Salesforce in 1999 and remains its chairman and CEO. The company, traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol CRM, had a market capitalization of about $210 billion at Tuesday’s close, making it one of the largest publicly traded software companies in the United States. Forbes estimated Benioff’s net worth at about $9.6 billion as of Tuesday. Forbes says he owns roughly 2% of Salesforce.
