A New Jersey woman has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the New York Yankees, alleging she suffered a traumatic brain injury and other serious injuries after Cleveland Guardians star José Ramírez lost control of his bat during a June 2 game at Yankee Stadium. Stephanie Duluc, 37, was sitting four rows behind home plate when the bat allegedly flew over protective netting and struck her in the head. The lawsuit claims the netting in her section was lower than in adjacent sections, leaving a dangerous gap, and alleges Duluc continues to suffer debilitating headaches, light sensitivity and neck and hand injuries that have prevented her from returning to work.
