🏙️ MANHATTAN RENT HITS RECORD AS INVENTORY TIGHTENS: Manhattan's median rent reached a record $5,395 in September, up 9% from a year ago, according to Corcoran. Active listings fell 16% from a year earlier to their lowest September level since 2019, and the vacancy rate stayed near 1.5%. "Demand continues to outpace supply," Corcoran COO Gary Malin said, adding that competition remains "frustratingly intense across much of the borough."
