REPORT: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir was told by senior U.S. officials earlier this week that the Pentagon is preparing for the possibility of renewed major combat operations against Iran within three weeks, Channel 12's Barak Ravid reported, citing a senior American official. Zamir reportedly warned that an attack in that timeframe could force Israel to postpone its October 27 election, given expectations that Iran would retaliate with missile fire on Israel. On Thursday, President Trump said on Truth Social that the U.S. "will not be attacking Iran at any time prior to the Midterm Elections" on November 3.
