⚠️ RECALL ALERT: HYUNDAI RECALLS 94,622 GENESIS SEDANS OVER SEAT FIRE RISK: Hyundai is recalling 94,622 vehicles in the U.S., including 2015-2016 Hyundai Genesis and 2017-2020 Genesis G80 sedans with non-memory power seats. A front seat control switch can be dislodged or damaged and stay engaged, causing the seat motor to overheat and potentially catch fire, even when the car is parked. Hyundai is aware of two fires, with no injuries reported. Hyundai recommends owners park outdoors, away from buildings and other vehicles. A free fix is still being developed, and owner letters are reportedly scheduled to begin mailing in December. VINs can be checked at NHTSA.gov.
