✈️ JETBLUE CLEARED TO TAKE OVER SPIRIT'S LAGUARDIA SLOTS: The FAA has granted final approval for JetBlue to acquire 22 takeoff and landing slots at New York's LaGuardia Airport that were previously held by Spirit Airlines. JetBlue won the slots in a bankruptcy auction with a $58.5 million bid after Spirit ceased passenger operations in May and entered liquidation. Under the approval, JetBlue may not lease or trade the slots to another carrier until after April 2028. JetBlue says they could support up to 12 additional daily round trips from LaGuardia in 2027.
