*🇺🇸 - Bodycam Shows NYPD Rescue Of Teen On Williamsburg Bridge* Newly released bodycam shows NYPD officers talking a 19-year-old off a ledge under the Brooklyn side of the Williamsburg Bridge, then bringing him back up to the roadway. The call came in around 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Emergency Service Unit officers spent about an hour with him. Two officers lowered themselves onto the ledge and stayed with him until he was hoisted to safety around 1:50 p.m. “You’ll never know that tomorrow will be better if you don’t give it a chance,” one officer tells him on the footage. “We’re down here with you.” Both directions of the bridge were shut while crews worked. Police say the teen was removed unharmed and taken to a hospital for evaluation.
