21 YEARS LATER, JEWS RETURN TO KADIM: An emotional ceremony marked the return to Kadim in the Shomron, 21 years after its residents were expelled during the 2005 Disengagement. Former resident Ogen Drori presented Shomron Regional Council head Yossi Dagan with a plaque bearing the words of their farewell pledge from 21 years ago: "Kadim is our home forever. We will yet return." Drori also handed the new community's chairman the original founding charter, signed by the families who established Kadim in 1983. The crowd rose to its feet and applauded the former residents who returned for the occasion. Join the JustMyIsrael Status!
