HE DEDICATED HIS LIFE TO RESTORING JEWISH CEMETERIES IN POLAND: Yehuda Aharon Widavsky, who spent decades locating, documenting and restoring Jewish cemeteries and graves across Poland, has passed away at 107. Widavsky, Israel's oldest Holocaust survivor, helped identify more than 3,000 Jewish graves and became a leading figure in preserving Poland's Jewish burial sites. Born in Poland in 1919, he survived Auschwitz and Nazi forced labor camps before making Aliyah in 1950. In 2012, he was chosen to light a torch at Israel's national Yom HaShoah ceremony.
