Manchester Police counter-terrorism officers have reportedly foiled a planned terrorist attack targeting the Jewish community. Two suspects, allegedly preparing for imminent attacks possibly around Yom Kippur, were arrested in separate raids on Erev Yom Kippur. The arrests came exactly one year after the Heaton Park Synagogue terror attack, which killed two Jews. Police have since increased security measures and patrols in Jewish neighbourhoods.
