An alleged Iranian spy was promised £150,000 to “finish off” a UK-based journalist, a court has heard. Three Iranian nationals are accused of carrying out surveillance on journalists and other critics of the Iranian regime in London between 2024 and 2025. Prosecutors allege the information gathered was intended to help plan serious violence.
