VERIZON OUTAGE HITS VALLEY VILLAGE FOLLOWING NATIONWIDE DISRUPTION Verizon customers in Valley Village are reporting another major service problem this morning, Sunday, with some users saying their cellular service is completely down. The local problems come just one day after Verizon experienced a widespread outage across the United States yesterday. More than 12,000 outage reports were recorded at one point, with customers across multiple states reporting difficulty making and receiving calls. Verizon said yesterday's nationwide issue was resolved, but customers in Valley Village are now reporting fresh service problems Sunday morning. It is not yet clear whether today’s Valley Village outage is connected to yesterday’s nationwide disruption.
