*Missing Jet Skier Miraculously Found Alive After Night in Ocean* A frightening ordeal off Long Beach ended with a remarkable rescue after two jet skiers went missing Sunday evening. Paul Anthony Carbullido Jr., 53, was last seen around 7 p.m. Sunday after falling into the water near the Queen’s Gate Entrance Channel. Authorities were alerted around 10 p.m. A woman who was with him managed to swim for about an hour to the breakwater and was rescued. Hours later, crews located the two abandoned jet skis — one around 1:15 a.m. Monday and the second around 1:45 a.m. — but Carbullido was nowhere to be found. After spending the entire night in the ocean, a Coast Guard helicopter miraculously spotted Carbullido at 10:48 a.m. Monday, roughly three miles off Seal Beach Pier. He was rescued alive and taken to shore in stable condition, suffering from hypothermia.
