*DHL Cargo Plane Catches Fire After Landing At LAX* A DHL cargo plane experienced a frightening landing at Los Angeles International Airport late Wednesday night after its landing gear area caught fire. The Boeing 737-800 cargo aircraft had arrived at LAX from Phoenix when flames were seen coming from the left side of the plane at approximately 11:10 p.m. Video from the scene showed sparks and flames around the rear landing gear, with at least two tires appearing severely damaged. Airport firefighters quickly responded on LAX's southern runway complex, just west of the Sepulveda Tunnel, and brought the fire under control. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The exact cause remains under investigation, although initial reports indicate the incident may have involved a problem with the aircraft's braking system.
