Major Traffic Changes Coming to Wilshire & Santa Monica in Beverly Hills Drivers who regularly travel through Beverly Hills should plan for delays beginning Monday, August 3. The City of Beverly Hills will begin a major intersection improvement project at Wilshire Boulevard and South Santa Monica Boulevard, with construction expected to last approximately six weeks. Work will generally take place Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting. Construction will be completed in phases at all four corners of the intersection. While at least one lane in each direction will remain open, motorists should expect intermittent turn restrictions, overnight lane reductions, and heavier-than-normal traffic throughout the project.
