*City Crews Install New Sidewalk Ramp At Beverly And Mansfield* City of Los Angeles crews are working Friday morning to install a new sidewalk accessibility ramp at the northwest corner of Beverly Boulevard and Mansfield Avenue. The entrance to the 300 block of North Mansfield from Beverly is temporarily closed while construction is underway. Westbound traffic on Beverly Boulevard approaching from Highland Avenue is also experiencing minor impacts. The work comes after LADOT activated a new pedestrian HAWK signal at Beverly and Mansfield in June. LA Scoop has been told that crews working in the Griffith Park area were reassigned to Hancock Park to complete the improvements at Beverly and Mansfield. And perhaps there’s a message in getting the work prioritized here: I guess our Jewish community votes do matter to Mayor Karen Bass!
