West Hollywood Orders Action After ‘Coyote Condo’ Draws Complaints The City of West Hollywood is taking action after a pack of coyotes moved into an abandoned condominium construction site at the corner of Spaulding Avenue and Romaine Street, a location that neighbors have nicknamed the "Coyote Condo." After numerous complaints about nightly howling and concerns for pets, the city has ordered the property owner to hire a licensed wildlife control specialist to humanely remove the coyotes and secure the site. The unfinished 22-unit condo project has sat vacant since construction stalled in 2024.
