New Fund Established by Philanthropist Reb Yoel Landau During Visit to the Gerer Rebbe During a visit to the Gerer Rebbe's home in Yerushalayim, joined by the Rebbe's son Rav Nechemia, shlit"a, philanthropist Reb Yoel Landau proposed the establishment of a new fund and pledged $1 million toward the initiative. The fund will provide legal assistance and coordinate efforts on behalf of yeshiva bochurim and yungeleit affected by the Israeli government's current draft-related sanctions, with the goal of combating sanctions and arrests of bnei yeshiva who refuse military service.
